Fundi Handyman was founded in 2005 on the simple principle of providing highly skilled, responsive and professional 'Fundi(s)' to serve the repairs and maintenance needs of families, individuals and businesses in and around Kampala. Our name ‘Fundi,’ is a Swahili word for – craftsmen, experts, skilled workers, technicians. It is suggestive of the level of craftsmanship, dedication and experience our staff bring to each project.

Besides our core services of “small job” repairs and maintenance, we have over the years, extended our service range to include household goods and personal effects packing and removal service under the brand name "HandyMovers." HandyMovers has since become our flagship brand service.
