Reviews of Golden Fish - Kampala

I walked into this place one afternoon to ask for a menu so that I could place an order.I was looking forward to some Chinese food. A Chinese man whom I presumed to be a manager approached me. I asked him for the menu and he said they had no menus. So I asked " how am I to place an order then?"
He then proceeded to pull out a menu from behind the counter. Before handing over the menu, he asked me where I was from and I told him I worked in one of the offices around their establishment to which he responded that office people cannot afford their meals. I thought he was joking! I asked for the menu again and this time he said and I quote "Office people eat small, small food (whatever that means!) and cannot afford that money" Unbelievable!
He did not even let me touch the menu! I glimpsed through as he flipped pages agitated and lo and behold, the prices were way below some of the other Chinese establishments I have eaten from like Fang Fang.
Well that man should know, "office people" as he calls them earn a living too and many of his customers work in offices. We don't earn stones!
I was truly offended and I can never recommend that place to any one. With such arrogance, it is no surprise the place was devoid of any customers that day.
