Afrimech is founded by Mr. Ben Vietnieks with more than a decade of experience working in East Africa, and Mr. Ernst van Hek with more than three decades experience in the global construction equipment industry.

At Afrimech we focus on importing and selling high quality used equipments from global brands and to offer a strong after-sales support to Uganda and other East-African countries.

The principle behind Afrimech is to understand the local needs and source the best equipment available at a fair price to suit those needs.
Afrimech' headquarter is based in Kampala, Uganda and has local outfit of staff including sales, admin, machine operators, mechanics and technicians to provide the best possible service to its clients.

Afrimech's core business products is the sale of medium to heavy used equipments such as; Excavators, Bulldozers, Graders, Backhoe loaders, Wheel loaders, Rollers and Chain loaders.
Afrimech's most popular and requested brand of used equipment is Caterpillar. For certain particular machines backhoe loaders we also deal with JCB machinery and rollers from Dynapac or Bomag.

Afrimech deals strictly with well known global manufacturers with the best after-sales network available. The brand names not only guarantee the best quality for working in African conditions, but also the best possible residual value. If for whatever reason a client wants to resell equipment, it will not be difficult to do so and the value will not have depreciated a lot.

Currently Afrimech is coming into its 3rd year of operation in this time acquiring an eclectic client base from local contractors, agriculture farmers and mining contractors.

Machinery has been sold throughout Uganda and into the mining region of DRC and of recent Afrimech has ventured into South Sudan, Tanzania and the North Kivu region of DRC to raise company exposure and explore further business ventures in East Africa.
