I went to this restaurant to watch world cup semi finals and ordered food and a drink. Coming from Europe, I am used to very quick and fair service. My order took long to be done so, I inquired with the waiter and told him to cancel the drink since it was taking long to be served and the match was over. He told me ok and left. To be sure, I walked to him and reminded him to cancel. After a few minutes, he returned and said the cocktail will be packed for me as long as the food. I told him not to pack it because I had cancelled. After waiting so long, I decided to walk out but I was stopped and convinced my order was up so, I stayed. The waiter then told me I had to pay for the drink that was cancelled. At that point, I was annoyed because the order had taken long and they were charging me for a cancelled drink. I demanded they refund my money and the boss Ramesh (an indian) was very rude and degrading. I exchanged words with him and he ignored me without an explanation. Out of frustration, I pushed the drink but it didn’t spill because it was packed. However, the waiter on duty caught it and threw it on my head. He further told me I can do nothing to him and that I should get out. At that point I was so pissed that I called my friends to intervene since they were Entebbe natives. Apparently, they all had horrible experiences in the same bar. From talking to other people (Black Ugandans) I can conclude that RAMESH AND HIS EMPLOYEES are prejudicial and very mean to black Ugandans. I went home dripping in alcohol and no apology.
