AirQo - Kampala

AirQo is an organization dedicated to improving the air quality of cities by providing scientific data and cost-effective technologies. The AirQo Initiative has designed and constructed portable air quality monitors called AirQo that are capable of surviving in the demanding environment of a developing nation. These monitors can be placed in both stationary locations such as street lights and buildings, as well as mobile objects like cars and boda-bodas. The data collected from these devices will help to create policies to reduce, contain, and manage air pollution and its associated health risks.
