Job Responsibilities: • Produce monthly financial reports to Kampala office and donor reports according to donor requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance • Working as a liaison between the bank and the organization, collect monthly bank statements and prepare bank reconciliation to reconcile with book and G/L accounts balances; • Prepare the project cash flow forecast with programs feedback and reconcile with the original budget before sending to Kampala finance. • Ensure compliance with donor regulations, FH finance policies and local government rules and regulations • Ensure the accuracy and correctness of all transactions against each grant, ensuring all expenditures are posted under the right account codes • Ensure budget holders understand the requirements of grant and grant auditors' requirements, have prepared all necessary paperwork to the audit, • In coordination with Kampala finance, organize in house training and/or orientation session on finance to projects staff,
Job Qualifications Having completed ACCA/CPA level is added advantage pursuing professional qualifications Minimum
Job Education Candidate should have a bachelor's degree equivalent in Finance and accounting or related discipline from a recognized university or institution.
Job Experience Having completed ACCA/CPA level is added advantage pursuing professional qualifications Minimum of 4 years extensive experience in financial management and co-ordination preferably within an international NGO environment.
