KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on heavy lifting equipment such as Terex cranes, Manitowoc cranes, CAT forklifts and Genie manlifts.
- Lead quality control analyses and failure analysis for all lifting machinery post-repair.
- Provide on-site training and knowledge transfer to local technicians, enhancing their capabilities in system calibration and schematic troubleshooting
- Manage and execute parts requisition for maintenance and repair processes.
- Conduct PAT inspections and system calibrations for all electrical and hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with international standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 15 years of experience as a qualified Electro-Mechanic Technician in a heavy equipment environment, from a recognised Institution
- Proven expertise in the maintenance and operation of Terex cranes and other specified heavy equipment brands (Liebherr, Manitowoc, Genie, CAT).
- Valid heavy drivers permit (a must)
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and lead training sessions on electrical and mechanical system maintenance.
- Extensive experience in conducting failure analyses and quality control checks following equipment repair.
- Must be able to read hydraulic and electrical schematic blue prints, (non- negotiable)
- Advanced knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems to do troubleshooting for calibration.
- Prior experience working internationally, particularly in challenging and diverse environments.
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
