Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable
Our tour guide will meet you from the hotel or Entebbe international airport for transfer to Bwndi the home of gently mountain gorillas. Drive through Kampala city via Masaka with a stopover at the Equator for sacks and photo shot. You will have beautiful view of the rolling hills, ever green vegetation, long horned ankol cattles and in case you sight a point of interest you can ask the guide/driver to stop. You will have lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre and after proceed with journey to Bwindi. The journey takes 12-13 hour's drive, upon arrival you will check-in at the lodge for dinner and refreshment.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking
Wake up very early in the morning and have morning breakfast, after breakfast pack you trekking equipment's, enough drinking water and pack lunch. Your safari guide will drive you to the park's headquarters where you will be briefs on rules and regulations of gorilla trekking, you will be given gorilla family to trek in the number of 8 tourists per gorilla family.
UWA game ranger will then let the group into the jungle, the trek depends on how first you will meet the gorilla family but it can take half an hour to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they slept the pervious night. After finding this endangered mountain gorillas, you will be allowed only one hour with them watching them feeding, playing, little ones jumping from tree to tree, silverback guarding the family. After the trek, head back to the UWA offices and pick your gorilla trekking certificate. Head for community visit, where you will meet the form poachers and interact with them. Return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner as you wait for overnight.
Day 3: Departure
Take morning breakfast and leave for Kampala. Arriving late in the evening, the driver will either drop you at the hotel or Entebbe international airport to catch-up with your flight back home.
