• Checking and preparing specifications, terms of reference & statement of requirements in liaison with user departments.

• Development of Annual and Quarterly procurement plans in line with Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority guidelines.
• Carrying out Market research, identify, and analyze current supplier and market trends.
• Carrying out supplier appraisal
• Developing, review and implement an effective systems for confirming and fast tracking user requests/Procurement requisitions,& LPOs, to user departments on status of procurements.
• Preparation of contracts for both works, supplies and services, award contracts to selected bidders and monitor their implementation in line with the laid down procurement act and guidelines.
• Inventory Management, analysis of procurement information for decision-making and provide documentation to user departments in line with the local government procurement regulations.
• Carrying out systematic and procedural disposal of fixed assets and obsolete inventory in line with the PPDA Act & Regulations.
• Preparation of Quarterly and annual reports on procurement activities in accordance with the PPDA Act & Guidelines.
