Registered nurse

As a general nurse;
I had the responsibility of receiving, triaging and managing emergencies at Out-patient department, administer medication as per prescription, writing and handing over reports to fellow nurses, carrying out immunization and follow up of patients.

As a pharmacy general;
I had the responsibility of managing the drug store,this included drug procuring,stock taking, enforcing cold-chain for vaccines and other drugs
And in the pharmacy, i had the responsibility of running day to day activities of the pharmacy and these included; dispensing drugs, keeping records of dispensed drugs, stocking the pharmacy and handing over of reports to whoever was responsible for the pharmacy in my absence.

As a general nurse I had the responsibility of receiving patients, administering medication and carrying out other general nursing procedures.

As a bedside nurse, I had the responsibility of offering individualised nursing care, this involved taking 4hourly vitals, administering prescribed medication, follow up on Hospital appointments and giving a general report to the reviewing doctor about the patient's wellbeing from the last hospital visit.
