    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
     Managing the overall stores team and ensure duties are carried out efficiently
     Managing stock outs by efficient planning, on a timely manner the chemicals, fertilizers
     Managing the import activities through ensuring timely planning and delivery
     Doing different weekly purchases, for different departments and international
     Doing the stores weekly reports and monthly stores reports to balance with accounts effectively.
     Maintaining the hygiene protocols in place while carrying out different stores activities.
     Timely planning of local purchases and imports from overseas like Kenya, Netherlands,
     Making of Lpos, process internal order forms, in order to complete purchase processes.
     Making of weekly import lists, by weekly stores purchase lists and submits them for approval to the managing director for approval.
     Timely purchase of items like gas and fuel from our supplier stabex international to avoid late deliveries to keep the production process moving.
     Carrying out quarterly supplier evaluations and review of supplier lists to ensure we are dealing with complaint suppliers in the URA system.
     Ensuring the procurement process is followed from from first step to the final stage of
    Goods acquisition.

     Receiving goods or finished goods from the production unit.
     Maintaining the stock levels in the stores to avoid minimum stock levels.
     Ensuring cleanliness in the stores by use of hygiene checklist.
     Dispatching goods to other departments and also sales men for upcountry distribution and other area distributors within Kampala.
     Carrying out daily stock takes in the stores to ensure stock balance in the stores
     Ensuring there are no expiries in the cold stores to eliminate loses and reporting of daily stock shortest expiries in the stores through posting them in the system through (SAP)
     Daily stock reconciliation after the days dispatches of products through use of system application program. (SAP)
     Posting of any receipts from production through billing or invoicing, and making reservations for the products received e.g., yoghurt, fresh milk, butter, fresh cream, ghee.
