Vatu Supermarket located in Kyebando Central on Musoke Complex along Bahai Komamboga Road is looking for qualified talent to fil the position of Cashier (2). Below are the detailed responsibilities for the Positions.

Supermarket Clerk / Cashier Responsibilities

A Supermarket Clerk’s responsibilities include maintaining a clean work environment, organizing displays, and stocking shelves with products for customers to buy. 

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and payments
• Stock and replace products to avoid any damages
• Keep shelves fully stocked with fresh products
• Prepare store displays and ensure that products are accurately labeled
• Order out-of-stock products
• Assisting customers to the appropriate aisle or shelve to assist with purchasing decisions
• Providing excellent customer service
• Ensuring the store is clean, safe and ready for shoppers

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Supermarket Clerk / Cashier or similar role
• Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus
• Great attention to detail
• Good communication and people skills
• UCE or its equivalent is preferred
