Day One:
Kampala – Lake Mburo National Park
On arrival at the Entebbe international airport, you will be met by our safari guide who will then transfer you to the booked hotel.
After breakfast the tour guide will drive you to Lake Mburo national park.
Approximately 230km 4 hours drive on the Mbarara Kampala highway. Dinner and overnight stay at
Mihingo lodge, Arcadia lodge, Mburo Tents
Day Two:
Game Drive and Boat Ride
After breakfast you will go for a game drive where you will spot animals like Zebras, duikers, Impala, Bohor reedbuck, Buffaloes, eland antelope, topi, Klipspringer, the Vervet monkey, olive baboon, leopard, Hyenas, jackals, agile Rock Hyrax, waterbucks, warthogs, bushbucks, and oribi. Birds like the White-winged Warblers, Black-billed Barbet, Crested Quails, Greenwood Hoopoe, Blue-napped Mouse bird, Barefaced Go-away bird, African-grey Hornbill, Nubian Woodpecker, Trilling Cisticola, Lilac-breasted Roller, Coqui Francolin, Black Bellied Bustard, Flappet larks, Rufous chested Swallow , Southern Red Bishop ,Yellow-throated Long claw, red, black and yellow papyrus gonalek, Cormorant, Black Crake, Heron, Pelicans, Fish Eagle,papyrus yellow warbler, African fin foot, saddle billed stork, brown chested wattled plover, carruther’s cisticola, tabora cisticola, and great snipe may also be spotted during the gameelands-lake-mburo drive and some during the boat ride.
In the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo you may spot the rare shoebill and other bird species, you may also see animals like the hippos and the crocodiles in the water.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day Three:
Lake Mburo National Park – Kampala, then Departure
After breakfast the Tour driver will pick you from the lodge after checking out and drive you back to Kampala.
You may stop at the equator in Kayabwe for photography. Proceed to Kampala to catch your departure flight.
