Priority placed on academic excellence, Teachers are available to guide and engage students including those struggling to cope, Conducive environment with well stocked facilities e.g. Labs, Libary, computer Centre, and support is given to students with special needs.

Its with great pleasure to appreciate the whole iganga ss fraternity for the great work it has done as soon it shall be celebrating the 60years in existence.Bravo the might school.Being a yellow,I enjoyed my 6 years in iganga as ,it was really a good place to be in .it has a very motherly headmistress called Balina inseko Idha Annet with a committed staff which you can not find any where .comrades iganga ss has always,is always and will always shoot the stars because just a sky can not limit its success. I joined iganga ss with 12 aggregates and feared to report to school though I loved to in fear of those with4,5,6,7,but with the diligence and commitment with qualified teachers I savoured through and by my form six I got 19 points.And this performance earned me the head teachers hug since its always special to be hugged by such a person.Therefore,I applaud iganga ss for the tireless work it has done for all the years it has existed in Uganda.

Iganga Secondary School is one the oldest secondary school in Iganga District. Good performer in UCE and UACE in the district. I am an old student of that school. Iam a personal secretary and most of my former classmates of the school are in good positions in uganda. We have a doctor in Mulago he heads a very big department, one in Rubaga Hospital and another DHO in one district. a bank manager in Mukono Stanbic, Auditor and so many others. I request that Management should invite old students every year to contribute something. I LUV Iganga SSS for the 6 years i stayed in it. Long
