Basaalima started early 1986 by the man called Dr Basaalima. We started with cooking herbal roots and stems with fire wood, and the local indigenous people who were suffering from different diseases used to come and collect medicine for their treatment.
In 2000, we started updating and improving our herbs by carrying out research with other local and international herbalist which later resulted into modern research.
