Reviews of Kikonko Lodge - Hoima

We truly loved the elegant and peaceful atmosphere in this brand-new lodge. The staff was very eager to make every wish come true for us and always greeted us with a smile. The food was delicious and home-made. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and very spacious and most importantly have an amazing view over the lake and if you are lucky at the Blue Mountains of the Congo. And the birds!!! There are so many of them so that you nearly can't leave your veranda when you are watching them!
We will certainly be back!

Kikonko is a remarkable lodge endowed with variety of native flora and fauna of the great East African riftvalley.What i admired most about the lodge is the hospitality of the staff,they are so welcoming and my favourite time of my stay was the night of million lights.It is not just a fantasy it is a reality that can not be best described in words but require ones physical presence.I implore all to come check it out it is an experience worth trying out.The dazzling lights are real and the way they light up lake Albert makes them so fascinating to watch.

The chalets are beautiful with stunning desks overlooking Lake Albert. The rooms at this lodge are very fancy and provide a magnificent view over the lake albert. At night I saw thousands of fisher boats on the lake, guess that’s something you can only experience here. Kikonko Lodge is approximately 400 meters above the sea level, … a truly unique and fascinating experience! The services provided by the lodge are excellent, and so is the food. Thank you so much!
