KIRABO RENEWING HOPE AID

Kirabo Aid is a Christian non-profit organization in Uganda based in Rubaga Division.
It’s a children, Youth and Women Focused Organization empowering Eye Health,Child Education,Medical Outreaches,Girl Child,and Livelihood.

Organizational Profile:
• Kirabo is a child, women and family centered serving organization seeking to promote and empower well being of vulnerable people with specific emphasis on Education & Literacy empowerment, Child & Family strengthening, Health & Eye Care, Enhancement of Gender equality and Girl child support, Promotion of youth Livelihood, developing Leadership and talents among young people.

• Kirabo aid do re-integrate orphans and school dropouts back to school by sponsoring them, providing education needs and requirements that have always been hindering majority of them from being at school and attaining education.

• Kirabo aid, has come out to fight blindness especially in the vulnerable people who can’t afford to access treatment neither glasses to collect the refractive error which lead to vision loss in children and old people. 1.4 Million Ugandan are visually impaired due to short sightedness and refractive errors, as an organization we have carried out eye care awareness campaigns named @MY EYE MY SIGHT! In partnership with Eye Clinics in Uganda such as Dr.Agarwal’s Eye Hospital to ensure free eye care services are reached to poor people.

• Kirabo aid as an organization works specifically with orphans and vulnerable children, elderly people and women especially the girl child in hard to reach areas who seek to live with dignity through our community outreach activities such as counselling, Health & Eye care, youth Livelihood empowerment and medical outreaches in various poor communities. Kirabo aid has gained experience in working with children and young people through offering friendly, appropriate and timely service delivery and follow up on several cases and through this many vulnerable have benefited a lot.
