Onestope - Kampala

Onestope is on a mission to increase the accessibility of quality healthcare services and products to patients across the East African region. Out of every 10 sick people in Uganda, 7 of them do not get a chance to see or talk to a doctor before buying and taking drugs. Often this can result in them taking the wrong doses and even completely the wrong medicines. And the reason for this is that in most of our hospitals and clinics, we try to prescribe patients a lot of tests and drugs, some of which may be unnecessary. This usually makes healthcare really expensive for the uninsured patient who has to pay high out-of-pocket costs for their healthcare access. So these patients, who are the majority turn to self-diagnosis and self-medication, just to avoid the high hospital bills Onestope
