Job vacancy Automotive Technician

MainResponsibilities of the Job.             

• Inspectionof motor vehicle and determination of their estimated market value.
• Diagnoseand advise on problems relating to mechanical, electrical and body repairs.
• Determinevehicle road worthiness and road test vehicle accordingly.
• Updatedaily register on all vehicles valued.
• Regularadvice on changes within the automobile industries.
• Assistin dispute resolution on valuations.
• Ensurethat installation and concealment of tracking devices in a professionally workapproved by the supervisor.
• Ensurethat client’s details are correctly captured in the installation form/ job cards.
• Commenceinstallation only after internal requisition and installation order is properlyrecorded and approved.
• Ensurecompleteness of client’s information in the database in control room.
• Testthe tracking unit after installation to confirm functionality.
• Ensurethe installation areas are properly secured during and after installation.
• Beforea client’s vehicle is handed over, ensure that he signs the post installationform to confirm that all is well.
• Ensurethat all the client’s information is confidential at all times.
• AnyOther Duty Assigned by immediate Supervisor.

Academic and Professional Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Certificatein Automotive Engineering or its equivalent.
• 2-3 years working experience.
• Valid driving license.

• Excellentcommunication skills.
• Havethe ability to build relationships with all stakeholders-customers, externalvaluers and internal customers (staff).
• Gooddriving skills and smart drive behavior.
• Havegood interpersonal skills.
• Highlevel of confidentiality.
