Secondary Schools in Uganda are educational institutions which provide secondary education for students aged between 13 and 18 years old. They are the second stage of education after completing primary school. In Uganda, secondary school education is divided into two cycles; the O-Level cycle and the A-Level cycle. The O-Level cycle lasts for 4 years, during which students study for their Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE). The A-Level cycle is 2 years, during which students study for their Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE).

Private secondary schools are owned and managed by private individuals or organizations, while public schools are owned and managed by the government. Private schools tend to offer a better quality of education, as they have more resources and experienced teachers. However, they are usually much more expensive than public schools.
In terms of curriculum, secondary school education in Uganda follows the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), which is set by the Ministry of Education and Sports. This curriculum includes a wide range of subjects, including Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, Business Studies, and Foreign Languages.
